Veterinarian - ABVMA Chair

After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2011 I worked as a mixed animal veterinarian where I gained experience with many different species of livestock as well as companion animals. Five years later I transitioned into emergency medicine and advanced my skills and special interests in ultrasonography. In 2017 I made the jump to Tudor Glen Veterinary Hospital where I continue to advance my education and interest in ultrasonography and ophthalmology.

Outside of work I have a wonderfully supportive husband, Todd, a loveable pitbull named Bradley, and a spunky cat named Caddy. I spend my free time learning Brazilian jiu jitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing or back country camping and hiking with my husband.

I enjoy getting to know our clients and their pets and their different pet personalities while I work to keep them healthy as they age.

Veterinarian - Interest in Animal Behaviour

Like most vets, my love for animals began before I can remember and veterinary medicine is the only job I’ve ever aspired to.

I started as a tech assistant in an emergency clinic in Edmonton where I worked throughout my undergrad at the University of Alberta and during my breaks from vet school. I attended the University of Melbourne in Australia and developed interests in animal behaviour and pain management.

When I’m not at work I can be found hanging out with my cavalier Penelope or baking.
