Meet the Staff
Dr. Tammy Wilde Veterinarian
Dr. Tammy Wilde took over the practice in August of 2001. She is a 1997 graduate of the WCVM. Immediately following graduation she went to work in a mixed animal practice in Brooks, AB. Dr. Wilde has worked on a variety of species such as cows, horses, llamas, buffalo and sheep. She has since turned her attention to small animals and pocket pets, where she enjoys orthopedics and ophthalmology. She lives here in St. Albert with her husband Scott, their four children, Jack, Pete, Eastynn and Emersyn and their three dogs , Joon, Golias and Frankie, two cats, Bongo and JR and a gerbil Pockets.
Dr. Kristie Smith Veterinarian
Kristie grew up in Toronto and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012. Following graduation she worked in a small animal clinic practice for 2 years before making the move and joining the Veterinary team here at Tudor Glen in June 2014. Her areas of interest are surgery, preventative medicine, rehabilitation and pocket pets. Kristie shares her life with her two greyhounds, Summit and Kili and three rabbits, Caspian, Adrienne and Sebastian. She enjoys an active lifestyle playing ultimate frisbee and hockey, as well as agility and disc with her dogs.
Dr. Mandy Buisman Veterinarian
Dr, Mandy Buisman started with Tudor Glen in May 2015. She is a recent graduate from UCVM. She also grew up in Edmonton and has been working in small animal veterinary clinics since she was young. She married her high school sweetheart in 2011 before moving to Calgary to start vet school. She is excited to be back home, close to her family and friends. Mandy and her husband share their home with Joey, a 15 year old spoiled cat. She also enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, running, yoga and sewing. Mandy has a passion for small animal medicine, orthopedics and dentistry.
Dr. Kayla Bilsborrow started as a student volunteer at Tudor Glen in 2008. She went on to attended Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduated in 2016, and returned to Tudor Glen as a Veterinarian. Kayla has a special interest in companion animal behaviour, from socialization and basic training in puppies and kittens to treatment of problem behaviour.
Kayla has a “northern special” husky mix dog named Mackenzie, and enjoys teaching puppy classes, playing soccer, and exploring the outdoors.
Charlene Corbett Animal Health Technologist
Charlene Corbett came to work at Tudor Glen as an Animal Health Technologist in May of 2012. She graduated from the AHT program at NAIT in 1998. She is an animal lover having two dogs (Baxter and Rogue), four cats (Noah, Kismet, Logan and Gambit), Hershey the gecko, and a bird named Star. She lives in Edmonton and enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
Leanne Kadatz Animal Health Technologist
Leanne Kadatz joined our staff in May 2012 as an Animal Health Technologist. She has one dog, Bella, a Border Collie / Lab / Husky cross. Leanne enjoys sports, especially soccer.
Megan Sibley Animal Health Technologist
Megan Sibley joined our team in May 2013 as a recent Animal Health Technologist graduate of Lakeland College in Vermillion. Megan has a cat named Shadow and enjoys movies, reading, and sports.
Dariel Krawchuk Animal Health Technologist
Dariel joined the Tudor Glen team as an Animal Health Technologist in April 2014. She took the two year Animal Helath Technoligist course at Lakeland College.
She has numerous animals including a border collie named Koda, a cat named George, a quarterhorse mare named Jackie and a herd of cows! She's a farm girl who loves to spend time outside with her animals. She also loves spending time with her family and friends; horseback riding, quadding, fishing, camping and gardening.
Natalie Case Animal Health Technologist
Natalie has been working with Tudor Glen since August 2011, while attending NAIT to become an Animal Health Technologist. She is a class of 2015 graduate.
She has a Siamese cross cat named Q-Tip, a domestic medium hair cat named Boo, a Yorkshire Terrier named Brief and a Decker Rat Terrier named Jake.
Natalie was born and raised in New Brunswick and moved to Alberta in 2006. She enjoys horseback riding and hiking.
Tehnieta Richardson Animal Health Technologist Assistant
Tehnieta joined the Tudor Glen veterinary team in September 2009. She is originally from Grand Prairie, but moved to Edmonton when she was young. Now she lives in St. Albert. She is currently studying to get her Animal Science diploma. She enjoys music and drawing. She has two cats; a grey 2-year-old tabby named Emo and a 1-year-old Siamese named Secret.
Maya Helten Animal Health Technologist Assistant
Maya joined our staff as a Health Tech Assistant in 2005 but was off a couple of extended periods for maternity leave. She is originally from Japan but has lived here since 2004. Maya was a veterinary technologist for nine years before moving to Canada. She also studied grooming and animal nursing. Maya enjoys reading (in Japanese).
Jasmine Taylor Animal Health Technologist Assistant
Jasmine joined the Tudor Glen Vet team working with our kennel staff in May 2013. She is a student and would like to study vet medicine when she finishes high school. Jasmine has a cat named Peanut, a lovebird named Peaches, and a snake named Zeus.
Alyccia Stewart Animal Health Technologist Assistant
Alyccia Stewart joined the Tudor Glen Vet Hospital staff in September 2013 as a tech assistant. She has a St. Bernard named Doc and a horse named Socket. Her hobbies include spending time with family and riding horses, especially endurance riding. Alyccia has a house full of different species and pets.
Shea MacCallum Animal Health Technologist Assistant
Shea MacCallum joined our team in September 2013 as a tech assistant. Shea is a graduate of NAIT's Veterinary Medical Assistant program and is currently enrolled in NAIT's Animal Health Technology program. She has a 15-year-old Shiba Inu named Sumo. She enjoys traveling, trying new food, watching sports and all kinds of music.
Karin Hunsche Reception
Karin joined our Reception team in September 2014. She just finished completing her bilingual High School Diploma with Honors.
Her hobbies are music and running. Karin has many pets in her life - Mulan, a Rottweiler/Shepherd cross; Juno, a Doberman/Shepherd cross and Lola, a Maine Coon.
Stephenie Clewes Reception
Stephenie started with Tudor in September 2014 with our Reception team! She brings with her years of client service and a year as a tech assistant. After spending three years working in theatre running production crews and managing the stage she left to follow her dream of working in a vet clinic. She is currently taking courses in small animal massage due to an interest in rehabilitation. Once she's finished that she'll move on to large animal massage. Stephenie has a collie, named Burke and a cat named Panther. Stephenie has interests in traveling, DIY's and obedience training with Burke.
Dawn Phillips Operations Manager
Dawn graduated from Olds College in 1996 and has been working with animals ever since. She joined Tudor Glen Vet Hospital in 2001 where she worked as an Animal Health Technologist. She left TGVH in 2009 to pursue other opportunities. We are pleased to have Dawn back as Treatment Room Manager. In addition to 15 years of experience, Dawn's strong leadership skills and abundance of knowledge make her a valuable asset to the team. Dawn has two Rottweilers and an Australian Shepherd. She enjoys participating in numerous dog related adventures such as hiking, swimming, conformation, herding and obedience.
